They got someone out to look at my leak the same afternoon, explained where they think the leak was, and offered me 2 options. Everything he explained made sense to me and I decided to replace the entire length of the line from the curb stop to my house. The diggers arrived 2 days later after the rains stopped, and Ares came back the day after to replace the water line, the double-check backflow assembly, and installed a shutoff assembly closer to the house. The work was done efficiently with minimal water disruption. I was able to take my shower in the morning, make my coffee, and drink from bottled water for a few hours while the water was turned off. The work was completed by the afternoon and they explained it would take a few days before the city could come out to inspect. They continued to communicate with me regarding the inspection and came back to the house to hand me the inspection green tag when the inspection was completed. Then they told me the diggers should be back in a day or two to refill the ditches. Everything went smoothly and expectations were communicated and managed.
